what is that red fence?
I checked the tram on my iconic 8 and the x axis is within .002 but the y axis is out by .035. Can I adjust the Y by loosening the 6 screws that hold the spindle in and put a shim in the top?
Tony, Yes you can. If you would like more information on setting spindle tram we have some helpful documentation we could send you. Please email support@axiomtoolgroup.com and request the tram documents. Hope this was helpful.
Not really sure what the point of this quick video was.
bro got his company name from the ship in Wall-E 😂😂😂
Nice
Can you possibly give the part number and name for the 1/2 inch bit you used in the video?
In this video we used two bits. Roughing: Amana 1/2 core box AM45932. Finishing: Amana 1/16 Tapered ball AM46282.
@@AxiomprecisionCNC thank you very much… The video is most helpful
@@AxiomprecisionCNC Can you please double check that part number for that 1/2 core box bit? Amana does not have such a bit with that number on their site.
cool
Thanks for this!
Your welcome. Be sure to leave us a comment if there is a video you would like to see in the future.
You made a cutting board that an eight year old suburban rich kid would think is super cool. Learn your audience and you will be more successful.
Or make what they think is cool and be happier, rather than please strangers
You good bro?

Why do you ignore the older Axiom systems? They are still out there.
Dale we do have some content in the pipeline for some of our older Pro and Pro+ machines on the way. If you have the older square pump you will disconnect the spindle return line going to the small 90 degree fitting. Attach your drain tube to the fitting and lead it to your empty container. Activating the spindle will drain the lines. Then reconnect your lines and top off the coolant and let it cycle through the system for a minute. Top off your pump and reinstall the cap. You may want to do that twice to ensure you have cycled out most of the old coolant. If there is some content you would like to see for future videos please be sure to leave a comment.
What
Great. Very Clear.
Glad it was helpful! Be sure to let us know what content you would like to see in the future.
So you can only adjust the feedrate slower than what was originally programmed? Not faster?
That is correct. You are unable to exceed the max feed rate set in the software. You could alway set the feed rate higher and start with a smaller speed scale. This would allow you to increase or decrease right from the controller.
Thank you for this! I have to check mine, i think i have a box type reservoir.

> clean rags and oil is all you need > pulls out brush Also I've literally never seen anyone clean a machine, if it needs cleaning with a brush it's really not suitable for a production shop lol
I will make a block 75MM set it on the machine bed and touch off the tool from the top of the 75MM block. Unless you can think of a reason that would not work? Thanks fo the videos!
That would work. We have many customers who have created their own fixture for that use.
Thanks for the video. I'm using UCCNC with Vectric software. Would I incorporate the Z offset of 75mm into the toolpath?
I don't believe you will. You will set your Z zero at the machine side and use the offset there.
Wtf 😂
This is a great idea... And I'm guessing that the surface of the pie doesn't require a particularly strong, high powered laser, either...(?) 🤔😃
You could sell these, and I might.
seems like opening visual studio for editing a config file. just overkill
I like to write a custom Kernel to modify my files 🥰

Thank you for uploading these training videos. They are very helpful.
Do you have a longer, more in-depth tutorial you could show?
Yes, multiple videos coming this week.
Great video need more like that
mmmm burned pie
Sitting here at 4 am laughing at Ball nut. I need to sleep
Is that goose grease?
Never overgrease your ball nuts.
There's a grease gun nozzle that clamps in place. I wonder if it would work here. It doesn't snap in place, it's more like a clam shell.
My grease gun snaps on grease zirk. Why doesn't yours??
Sometimes all I need is one to two light pumps
In, out, repeat if necessary. I was always curious about the word 'zerk'. Were people too afraid to say 'grease nipple'?
Hehe you said nipple
Is there a automatic tool changer?
This is what I want to know as well.
Not currently at this time.
It's on our to-do list..
Looks cool👍
More cool stuff coming soon. Be sure you're subscribed so you never miss great content.
I like how the video cuts off, before you show the manual method lol
Cause ain't no one gonna use it lmao
For the full video please see the Link in the description.
You would be surprised how many users prefer the manual method of setting Z0.
interesting
Will blue tape and glue secure the workpiece as well as mdf does with these?
Yes, just be sure your boards are nice and clean before you use the tape.
Of course it does! Do it all the time and have never had an issue. You should watch some UA-cam videos instead of being a keyboard crap stirrer.
we want a tool changer
Don't worry it is on our to-do list.
22k for a machine with no tool changer is a bit steep!!
Or vacuum table.
Made with parts that are Chinese garbage.
can I use inch su15 bit with the internal fine to resurface my iconic spoilboards 2x4 size?
IDC su-15 1.5" ultrasmoorh surfacing bit
You can use a 1.5" bit with no problem. Just remember if you use the same file there will be no time advantages to using the larger tooling unless you create your own surfacing file.
Your website is not secure windows blocks it
Looking at it fine on a PC
We will look into this. thank you
Thank you

Thank you, We work hard to provide the best CNC to our family of users.
Hello, what postprocessor can I use for the 4 axis?
Here is a link to the post processor page on our website. Hope this I helpful. www.axiomprecision.com/post

So do we. Endless possibilities.
CNC Super heros. Yes!
They truly live up to the name.
Sweet
Any questions? We are happy to help. That would look pretty SWEET in your shop.
Hi, thanks for the video question. I think I messed up pushing too many buttons. My y seems to be out. I have an iconic eight can you tell me how to put it back to factory settings please thank you in advance❤🇨🇦
If you need to reset your controller back to factory settings please email our support team. support@axiomtoolgroup.com they should be able to supply you with the necessary files to reset your controller.
It looks like it will display more than the 6 characters that the Iconic and Pro models do, am I seeing that correctly?
What is ipm sir
IPM (Inches Per Minute) Referring to how fast your machine is moving your tool across the material.
